One of the first things you will notice about the Waring Pro Blender is that the carafe, or blending jug is not round, it is cloverleaf shaped. The reason for this is that this particular shape has been used by Waring since the first model was introduced to the public at the Chicago Housewares Show in 1936.

The cloverleaf design enables a vortex to develop, mixing all ingredients spiralling up from bottom to top and then back down again making it perfect for use as a smoothie maker as everything is perfectly blended.

The waterfall base is also a classic feature of the Waring designs and has the integral feature of a toggle switch used for both on-off and low-high functions. The Waring Pro Blender is truly an iconic design that will make a stylish addition to any kitchen whether modern or traditional.

The WPB80 model is available in chrome, brushed chrome, ebony and chilli red (pictured). It features a powerful, professionally rated, 500w motor, a heavy-duty metal base and a simple to use two speed toggle switch.
The large 48 oz capacity carafe or blending jug is made of durable polycarbonate and has easy to read English and Metric graduations. The lid has a convenient 2 oz measuring cup incorporated.

The jug has fully removable blender blades. These are very easy to clean, simply ensure that the switch is in the off position, remove the container from the unit base and empty the contents. Then, the blade assembly can be washed in the dishwasher but the polycarbonate jug, measuring cup lid insert and the gasket should be washed by hand and allowed to air dry before reassembling.

The motor has a limited five year warranty and the appliance, a one year warranty.
